A one-of-a-kind real-world training experience designed to help dogs and their humans build confidence, calm behavior, focus, and practical everyday skills in the environments that matter most.
This is not your typical obedience class.
Urban K9 Academy was created for modern dogs living modern lives — dogs who need to navigate parks, patios, sidewalks, public spaces, distractions, people, noises, other dogs, and everyday environments with confidence and stability.
Because true training doesn’t happen only inside a classroom.
It happens in the real world.
A Unique Real-World Training Experience
Each week, class meets in a new carefully selected location throughout the community to provide safe, structured exposure to different environments, distractions, surfaces, sounds, and social experiences.
By rotating locations weekly, dogs learn how to:
generalize behaviors
stay engaged in distracting environments
build confidence in new places
improve emotional regulation
develop calm public behavior
practice real-life skills where they actually matter
