Our class combines practical obedience training with real-world manners and preparation for the official AKC Canine Good Citizen test.
You'll work on skills including:
🐾 Accepting a friendly stranger
🐾 Sitting politely for petting
🐾 Walking nicely on leash
🐾 Walking through a crowd
🐾 Coming when called
🐾 Staying calmly in place
🐾 Responding to basic cues
🐾 Appropriate behavior around other dogs
🐾 Handling and grooming tolerance
🐾 Building focus and confidence around distractions
And because real life doesn't happen in a quiet training room, we'll help you practice these skills in situations that actually matter.
THIS IS MORE THAN A "SIT & STAY" CLASS.
The goal isn't simply to teach your dog commands.
It's to help you create a dog you can enjoy taking places.

Our training is force-free and positive reinforcement based, so your dog learns through motivation, encouragement, and successful experiences.
You'll learn how to communicate clearly with your dog, reinforce the behaviors you want, and continue practicing at home between classes.
Whether you're working toward the CGC title or simply want a better-mannered dog, this class is a fantastic next step.
READY FOR THE TEST?
At the conclusion of the program, you'll have the opportunity to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen test.
Passing the test is a wonderful accomplishment—but the real reward is everything you and your dog learn along the way.
